CT's Treasure Haven is owned and operated by Chris Woodman and staffed with trusted family and friends. Chris grew up in Livonia, MI and has been a lifelong resident of Metro Detroit and Michigan. His parents, Larry and June, managed Country Antiques Store in Plymouth, MI in the late 1970's and early 80's and are members of his staff. Through the 1980's, all three were staff members at the old Great Lakes Antique Show that was held in Dearborn Mi and Suburban Chicago, IL. In the early 80's, as a teenager, Chris worked at one of Metro Detroit's pioneering Sports Memorabilia Stores. His interest in Antiques grew to equal his interest in Sports Memorabilia and he began buying and selling in his late teens. Chris worked his way through school and graduated from The University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1992, majoring in Psychology. He always supplimented his income by doing an occasional show and began selling on E-Bay in 1998. At the same time, while working for his second mid-major company whom he knew was going to lose it's presence in Michigan due to a merger, he decided to grow CT's Treasure Haven. Chris quit his "real job" for good in 2002 and ventured into the world of Estate Liquidation full time, conducting Estate Sales and operating as an Auction Manager. In late 2003, Chris and friend Chris Vennix took over the operation of Rooster's Antiques in Dearborn Heights, Mi and purchased the business in late 2004. They closed it doors in Nov 2008 and Chris is hoping to open a new location when the economy improves.
CT's Treasure Haven continues it's goal of offering a multitude of Estate Liquidation options for it's clients. We offer Estate Sale, Purchase, Auction and Consignment services.
Chris is passionate about the business and truly loves what he does. He cares about his clients and puts great emphasis on service.
